Website health check in 2020
Nothing is more frustrating than your website or e-commerce webshop not working as it should. We all have those days when Murphy appears and sprinkles his love around our businesses.
The website is incredibly slow or does not load at all, the images do not display correctly, the payment system stops working, the automation does not deliver the leads or messages and on top of that, your IT or web developer support is not available.
It’s a nightmare, isn’t it? Well done, Murphy…
Instead of pushing the alert button, sit back for a second and take a long, deep breath. Let’s find the root of the problem. Sometimes, finding the solution yourself is simpler than you think.
Here are our favourite troubleshooting techniques and testing tools to improve your website, SEO and email delivery performances:

A free and user-friendly SEO analysis platform that provides detailed insight into your site’s SEO and general health.
Email delivery and template testing tools
This will check your domain’s SPF and DKMI records and help, test and improve your email delivery score.
What is SPF? Sender Policy Framework is a method for recipients to check your domain registry where you’ve authorized your host or your sending service to deliver newsletters on your behalf. In other words, it helps your recipients determine if an email is a scam or not.
What is DKIM? DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) is a method to validate the authenticity of email messages. When each email is sent, it is signed using a private key and then validated on the receiving mail server (or ISP) using a public key that is in DNS. This process verifies that the message was not altered during transit.
The Email Markup Tester tool lets you test your markup and verify the structured data that is extracted from your documents.
To use the tool, paste the markup in the input text box below and click on Validate. The output of the tool will include the extracted structured data with all the properties for each entity and specific error messages in case the input is invalid.
Also don’t forget:
Change your website and email newsletter footer’s date to 2020. 😉
